2004 was fairly consistent. I'm writing this in mid 2006 and nothing is striking as impressive. I was thinking I could ask for more. That was stupid - I got it. The year 2005 was a interesting one, in the way of the ancient Chinese curse. "May you live in interesting times." With Lisa's surgery and the passing of one of our most popular models, it was easy to let the year go and look forward to 2006. |

Formal Engagement
We let her out for few minutes. She was getting a bit of cabin fever
Fun with props. This shoe is getting one heck of a workout.
These are a bit more sophisticated. I know that the model is more important than the composition, to you my viewers, but try, try I must to raise the level of my art. (yeah right)
A Robert Palmer redux. If you don't understand, look the video up.
Touch of the Irish
She looked so good outside last month that we figured that we would let her do the whole thing outside this time. Great idea. This was the only weekend that the temperature in California fell to 50 degrees. This poor girl damn near froze her wings off!
Alright! We got the wings back on. Cool. No, sorry can't use that word. Even now Jill is still, shall we say, chilly. Don't ask about the little wooden dude. This is for an ad that is running over the month of March. Like St. Patty's day and all that blarney.
No fair. I don't get that kind of attention.
Just admire the wings, boys. THE WINGS! Sorry I get carried away.
End of day, crash and burn. Funny thing about this last shot. The clover, this is the only green spot on the lawn, glued itself all over her body. It was a real challenge to remove all the plants. heh-heh-heh-heh.......Later folks.
We're taking a month or so off to completely repaint a Honda VTX 1800 for the 2004 Laughlin River Run Motorcycle Rally. It's a custom paint from the ground up. Wish us luck. I'll get some shots into the Bikes Gallery.

I know the line is corny and it has been used to death, but we're just not bright enough not to try it. Besides I thought it was just too damn funny.
This is the final. The shoot went very well, we knew what we wanted in the image and didn't have to do a lot of what if's. Sorry there are so few pictures this time. She is nice to look at. Never mind, guess I got shaken - not stirred.
This is the last in the series. Here's Jill in a test shot before the wig and makeup. She likes to stay hidden, but we get her every once in a while.
Here we are in full Atlantian regalia. This was to be a very quick job so we didn't bother to remove the construction hardware from the shots. I also didn't edit the legs and tail together because it was done by hiding the cross over in the final ad. See last image.
Fun with props. Is it obvious that we make our own? Here you can make up your own captions. I give you the easy ones - Happy Hookie, Hook-line-and-sinker, Nice shells, Is that a harpoon in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
This would be the final image I told you about above. See ya all later.
Has anyone noticed that in October things tend to get a bit different?
Oooooouuuuuuhhhh, scary.
This is Crow. You may recognize her from the Split Chest Shoot last year. Wow, has it been that long? Well Adam has been shooting her for a while and invited us to paint this charming creature again. Could you say no to her.
Anyway Adam bought a new house and set up a professional studio in one of the out buildings. The ability to control the environment has allowed him to take his art to a new level. His site will be coming back on line soon and I will put a link there as soon as it is up and stable.
If you see any resemblance to the Dragon Bike in this paint, give yourself a cookie. They saw the design and said we gotta do that. Happy haunting for now.

P.S. if you like Crow's look you can see more of her..... at crowscrypt.com
We met Kaylie at Micky's Chop Shop. They were sponsoring a biker art show. A biker art show with a 50ish theme. Cool. While we were there Kaylie walked in with her "not boyfriend". We did something a bit out of character and introduced ourselves and ask if she would be interested in this.
Guess what, she said yes. How did we do. We think she did great.
Calm down. This is just to show the incredible detail that was painstakingly painted on to this young lady's legs. The belt is painted on also. Not bad, eh. The paint - the paint!
Way to cute. Nice detail on the jeans. We did have one problem with Kaylie. She is so pale, I mean she is so white that it was hard to get a good light reading. If we got the skin right the jeans turned black, get the jeans right and her skin "blew out". Oh, the problems we have.
Obviously we have way too many stuffed animals.
Kaylie passed away in June of this year. We only knew her for a short time and will sorely miss the time we could have had.
Do the ladies real names matter at this point? One look at those nails and all you can say is "Yes Ma'am."
The pictures weren't specifically designed for the season, but, damn they work good.
"UNHOLY FREAKIN CHEESECAKE BATMAN!!" Okay, maybe that was a little over the top. In my opinion, the come hither looks are creeper than the scary ones.
Oh, her name is Jen.
Karen, see you got her name first here, is actually floating. No strings attached. Really.
You want to say she's not to her face?
All the pictures you are seeing were taken under a black light. Okay, more than one black light. That is all Adam would let me say about the technique. All I got was "ancient chinese secret". Anyone out there get that one?
Your old!
Oh no, she got her neck broke. Didn't slow her down a bit.
Ah, met Pia. Pia looks happy. She's been watching "Nightmare Before Christmas for 6 hours. In this case I can't come up with any pithy lines better than what you a probably thinking right now.
Pia now appears to be involved with the big snake thingy. As long as she is happy, I is happy.
Pia now looks hungry. These ladies were all done in one day and it was a long day. Oh Lisa, are we done now, can we go home? I don't like the way they are looking at me. Pia is calling me "Lamb chop". I'm loading the car now!
And on that (happy?) note we will leave you with the age old question.
What will you do when the lights go out?
See ya'. (insert maniacal laugh here) Haahhhaaaaaahahaaahhhaaaahahahaaaaa!!!!!
Made you blink.
